Email Ms. Sumek in the Health Office [email protected].
If student has symptoms, student must stay home until all 3 criteria are met:
- Symptoms are improving
- student is fever free for 24hrs
- one of the following:
- A negative PCR/NAAT test
- Negative rapid test within 24 hrs of symptom onset
- 10 days of isolation is completed (return on Day 11)
If your student tests positive:
They must isolate for 5 days. Day 1 is first day after symptom onset or positive test.
- IF on Day 5 or later, they receive a NEGATIVE rapid test, AND:
1) Have no fever
2) Symptoms are improving
3) Agree to wear a tight-fitting mask--even outside--on day 6-10,
THEN student may return to school on day 6.
- IF 2nd test is POSITIVE, student may continue to test until a negative result is received or stay home until 10 days from original symptom/test date.
- NO further testing required to return to school, if at home for 10 days.
Exposure to Covid positive person on or off campus:
To remain in school, student must test on day 3, 4, or 5 after the last contact with the COVID positive person. If the COVID positive person lives in the home, try to isolate.
Monitor for symptoms and a well-fitting mask is strongly recommended indoors and around others for at least 10 days.
Please inform the school if the student tests positive or develops symptoms. At that point, follow the other rules listed here.
